International Court of Justice
Aicha AmaouiHello everyone!
My name is Aicha Amaoui and I am a junior at the American School of Tangier. I’ve been part of the International Court of Justice since I started MUN. It has never failed to surprise me with its unique environment of unscripted debate where delegates must be prepared for everything. ICJ teaches how to lead a critical and efficient search for evidence, but also be able to come up with arguments on their feet, all within the boundaries of diplomacy and international relations. This added challenge makes it a one of a kind learning experience that I have the pleasure of ensuring for all of you as President of this year’s ICJ. I look forward to seeing you all! |
Hamza ElammariHello All,
My name is Hamza El Ammari, I am a senior from American School Tangier. It’s an honor for me to be the Vice President of the International Court of Justice for this year’s first CasaMUN . This will be my third time chairing in ICJ, one of the most interesting committees in MUN, because of who passionately cases are debated by the delegates. It is my pleasure to be part of this legacy. |
UNODC
Hello all,
My name is Salma Choudhury and I am a senior at the American School of Tangier. I am pleased to welcome you to CasaMUN 2019. Model United Nations has been a major part of my highschool years. It has shaped me into who I am today. Through MUN I was able to develop essential analytical and problem-solving skills. It’s an honor to be chair of the UNODC committee and I hope to have a committee filled with vigorous debate. |
Greetings Participants,
My name is Intissar Seuren and I am a senior at The American School of Tangier. It is an honor to welcome you all to the first edition of CasaMUN. Model United Nations has been a part of my life for over five years now, and having the chance to attend various national and international conferences has been captivating. As TMUN's 2019 Secretary General I learned many qualities that helped shape me as a person. Knowing that one has the dynamism to be one of the anchors at conferences where delegates feel empowered to lead is truly inspiring. I can't wait to chair the UNODC committee with my co chair Salma, and help lead some exemplary debates regarding a very prominent topic. See you all very soon! |

In the past, I have attended two national MUN conferences and one international conference in St. Petersburg. These experiences in MUN enriched my debating and public speaking skills and helped me channel my ideas in a productive way. Special Political
Hiba HalouiHello everyone,
My name is Hiba Haloui, I am 17 years old.The Model UN experience is unlike any other.I have always been engaged in arguments and the possibility of discovering new ideas whilst expressing my own in a conversation therefore, the MUN concept seemed like the appropriate place to harvest my argumentative energy in a mature way. Attending my 5 previous Mun conferences as a delegate/ambassador and or chair has been amazing. However, I have always been intrigued with the idea of being a chair in an in SpecialPolitical , as it allows me to view the debate from a different perspective. I can not wait to chair this year’s Special Political committee. |
Moulay Mehdi El-OudghiriHello All,
My name is Moulay Mehdi, and I'm a 10th grader from ASM. I would like to start off by saying that it is an honor to serve as one of the two chairs of the Special Political Committee. As a person who loves to debate and resolve matters, MUN was just the right place for me as a freshman last year. MUN has given me the chance to express and further develop my problem-solving skills on all past and current global issues, all while trying to master the art of public speaking. As a previous delegate/ambassador I have always been fond of viewing the debate from an angle that allows for a general perspective of the debate, and that is why I sought to become chair in CASAMUN. I hope all delegates leave with an unforgettable experience;and of course, a conference bursting of fruitful debate! |
